Following the changes in government regulation announced for July 19th, there is considerable relaxation with regard to the conduct of worship.  Social Distancing will not be required in the central pews but those wishing to maintain a reasonable distance can be seated in the north aisle or Lady Chapel area. The Rector and the Churchwardens after taking soundings have decided that the use of masks and hand sanitiser, although not mandatory will be encouraged.

Holy Communion will continue to administered in one part (only the wafer) and the presiding priest will continue to wear a mask for distribution and keep the ciborium covered during the prayer of consecration.

Congregational singing is now allowed and from Sunday August 1st there will be a choir. The servers and altar party will probably not resume until September.
