Support for Ukraine

As a church we have registered to help the plight of refugees on Sanctuary Foundation (link here) . This organisation is pledged to help those offering accommodation to refugees as well as giving advice on how they can best be supported. We are aware of several people in the community who have offered rooms but accept that not everyone is in a position to do this. However there will be an urgent need to support refugees, with advice, companionship, transport and many other aspect of life in a strange country. In the meantime we continue to pray for Ukraine and for peace –

O God,
it is your will to hold both heaven and earth
in a single peace.
Let the design of your great love
shine on the waste of our wraths and sorrows,
and give peace to Ukraine,
peace among nations,
and peace in our hearts,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
